Pay: $55,000 - $60,000 year
Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
This position will be working closely with transportation, supply chain, engineering, and management to accomplish various tasks to keep flow of production materials and assembly line products in the pipeline to vehicle manufacturers, such as GM, Chrysler, and Tesla as well as suppliers and other businesses from various industry sectors.
You will collaborate with a range of warehouse personnel, engineers, and forklift operators, as well as customers, along with supervisors and managers, to maintain effective communication between offices and distribution networks.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Strategically manage warehouse and supervise employees, logistics processes, quality procedures, and operations.
• Establish and maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment of teamwork and employee involvement/empowerment.
• Ensure proper staffing by department and shift, following guidelines based on production and shipping schedules. Oversee employees’ attendance and time management.
• Conduct performance reviews, coach and train direct employees.
• Monitor and ensure that all facility equipment is working correctly and meeting production standards.
• Support the ongoing development and implementation of operations through timely and accurate fulfillment of operations, while maintaining cost and quality efficiencies.
• Review productivity, KPI, and quality reports to ensure department is meeting pre-established targets and take necessary steps when targets are not being met.
• Supports HR in the recruitment and interview process of new hires.
• Maintain relationship with vendors, customers, and management through clear and effective communication.
• Responsible for inventory accuracy and quality control.
• Facilitate operational improvements and coordinate quality based initiatives.
• Coordinate and conduct physical inventory counts and audits.
• Maintains a highly effective and organized workplace environment and is able to conduct customer and supplier meetings with internal staff and external suppliers and customers.
• Other duties as required by management.
Qualifications and Skills
• Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor or relevant supervisory experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to get along with diverse personalities.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills with ability to identify and resolve problems.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships both internally and externally.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule and to respond to emergencies or other calls at any time.
Education and Licensing Requirements
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
Job Type: Full-time, Direct-Hire
Pay: $55,000 - $60,000 per year
Schedule: 8-9 hour shift, Monday – Friday
